Kindergarten Expedition Day 1

Everyone had a wonderful first day at Kindergarten Expedition! 

Thank you for sharing your children with us. We learned about the color red, the number 2 and the letter a. 

Students were met outside. We used chalk and talked until all our students arrived. Then we went into our camp space- the MSMS Library. Students found their cubby areas and then found their names and colored them for their cubby space. We then moved on to independent manipulative buckets. We had our morning meeting. We did a couple movement songs - Tooty Ta, Milkshake and Counting to 100. Then we introduced our learning jobs. Next we had a bathroom break and snack. We moved onto free choice play and then we read a couple books and had our closing circle. It was a busy, fun day.  

The staff for our program for week one consists of Mrs. Hoyt, Mrs. Parnell, Mrs. Bage and Mrs. Brown. For week two Mrs. Kearney will replace Mrs. Bage.
